May 3, 2021 — Nominations are being accepted for the next class of inductees to the Lee Legacy Wall of Honor.
"We are excited to start taking nominations to our prestigious Lee Legacy Wall of Honor," Principal Shannon Torres said. "It is important, as a community, that we continue to recognize outstanding former students, faculty, staff and other individuals who have made a significant contribution to Lee High School."
The Wall of Honor began in 2010. It celebrates prestigious alumni and those who have made significant contributions to the school. Previous inductees include former first lady Laura Bush, famed opera soprano Susan Graham and U.S. Air Force Brigadier Gen. Tim Green.
Per selection bylaws, no more than three alumni, one former faculty or staff member, one team and one award for special merit will be chosen in any induction class.
Requirements for nomination are as follows:
- The candidate must be a graduate of Lee High School, or have served as a LHS faculty/staff member, or has made a significant contribution to the quality of Lee High School.
- An LHS graduate must have graduated fifteen years prior to this nomination
- The candidate must be worthy of emulation by current students.
- The candidate must have made a significant contribution to society or a substantial professional accomplishment.
