MISD Honors Long-Term Employees
September 15, 2020 — More than 140 current Midland ISD employees were recognized for their service Friday. Each year, the District says thank you to employees celebrating a 5-year anniversary with the MISD Service Awards.
The following number of employees were recognized for their service to the District:
- 15 years (54 employees)
- 20 years (39 employees)
- 25 years (24 employees)
- 30 years (20 employees)
- 35 years (5 employees)
- 40 years (1 employee)
- 45 years (1 employee)
The MISD Service Awards traditionally include a Spring event, which was cancelled this year due to COVID 19. Award recipients were able to pick up their service awards on Friday at MISD'S Administration Building and retiring employees were also recognized.
Midland ISD employs nearly 3,000 people, and offers the highest starting teacher salary in the region.
