Thanks to the efforts of Educate Midland and the West Texas Food Bank, South Elementary is getting its own school food pantry. Classic Honda of Midland kicked the project off by donating a deep freezer, and an anonymous donor gave the school the refrigerators and wire shelving it needed. The pantry is slated to open in February.
