Open spots still available for free heart screenings
Midland ISD is teaming up with Midland Memorial Hospital and Championship Hearts Foundation to provide a potentially life-saving medical exam. The Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) heart screenings are FREE for students, ages 14-18. HCM is leading cause of sudden cardiac death among young people. The screenings are free, but you must sign up and have a signed parent waiver.
The first date for the free screenings is full, but registrations are now open for the second date: Saturday, January 12th. Visit www.champhearts.org for more information or to sign up!
