Hip hop violinist and YouTube sensation Rhett Price performed during several assemblies across the district recently. Rhett talked to students about his struggles as a young man from Midland thrust into the throes of the Boston music scene, trying to fulfill his dream of being a professional violinist. Hardship begets hope, he told students, and an unending drive to succeed has brought him the success he experiences today. Rhett performed at Barbara Fasken Elementary, Jane Long Elementary, Santa Rita Elementary, and Washington STEM Academy.
