    JROTC adds high-end flight simulator to arsenal

    Midland ISD's Air Force Junior ROTC program has purchased a state-of-the-art flight simulator after winning a $10,000 grant from the Midland Education Foundation. This simulator will be used as a part of aerospace science STEM courses currently offered to more than 120 JROTC students across four MISD high school campuses.

    All MISD students can now access digital device

    MISD's 1:1 technology initiative initially allowed all students to access digital devices such as an IPad or Chromebook during the school day. Now the program has expanded to allow every student have a device of their own.

    Number of AP Scholars doubles in five years

    The number of MISD students to earn AP Scholar designations jumped from 49 in 2019 to 127 this year! This is a testament to the hard work of our students and staff!

  • Midland woman returns to MHS to graduate at age 61

    Teresa Ramirez dropped out of MHS back in 1980 - right before she was supposed to graduate. She decided 2023 was the time to come back to school so that she could graduate with her grandson.
