Nominations Now Open for Lee Legacy Wall of Honor

Award Honors Alumni and Those Who Have Made Significant Contributions to the School

February 2, 2026 — Nominations for the next class of inductees to the Lee Legacy Wall of Honor will be accepted from February 2, 2026 through June 30, 2026.

“We are excited to begin accepting nominations for the Lee Legacy Wall of Honor,” said LHS Principal Chris Bryant. “It’s important to me, and to our entire community, that we continue recognizing former students, faculty, and community members who made a lasting impact on our school. Their contributions helped shape who we are today, and this is our way of honoring their legacy while inspiring future generations.”

The Lee Legacy Wall of Honor began in 2010. It celebrates prestigious alumni and those who made significant contributions to the school. Previous inductees include former First Lady Laura Bush, famed opera soprano Susan Graham, and U.S. Air Force Brigadier General Tim Green.

Per selection bylaws, no more than three alumni, one former faculty or staff member, one team, and one award for special merit will be chosen in any induction class.

Requirements for nomination are as follows:

  • The candidate must be a graduate of Lee High School, or have served as a LHS faculty or staff member, or made a significant contribution to the quality of the school.
  • An LHS graduate must have graduated fifteen years prior to this nomination.
  • The candidate must be worthy of emulation by current students.
  • The candidate must have made a significant contribution to society or a substantial professional accomplishment.

All nominations are due by June 30, 2026. Inductees will be announced in the fall of 2026. The nomination form is available at Lee Legacy Wall of Hall of Honor Nominees 2026.
