It provides the context and understanding of how humans interact with each other and with the environment over time. Our courses offer crucial knowledge needed to create a framework for understanding the systems of society.

Midland ISD's curriculum is based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills and covers a wide range of subjects from World History, Geography, World Cultures, United States History, Texas History, United States Government, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, and Philosophy.
