Bush Attendance Policy
When a student is absent a parent must call in or send a note within 3 days for that absence to be coded as “Excused-Parent Verified”. If not verified within 3 days, it will be left as an Unexcused absence.
Bush will accept 10 parent call ins throughout the year. These absences will be coded as “Excused-Parent Verified”. After 10, even parent verified absences will be coded as, “Parent Verified-Unexcused”.
A doctor’s note must be brought into the office with every appointment, we can no longer accept excuse notes that cover an entire six weeks, semester, etc. They must be date specific and appointment specific.
