Midland ISD understands that teachers are our most valuable asset. Without strong teachers who are passionate about serving the needs of our students, we cannot achieve academic success. Part of our retention and recruitment efforts include using existing facilities to provide high-quality childcare for our employees with small children.


Children aged 6 weeks through 4 years
Child care will be provided on school days from November 1st through May 24th (last day of school.)
7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.


Midland ISD employees must pay for child care via Payroll Deduction*

*Parents may also opt for funding through Workforce Solutions Permian Basin if eligible.


Children will be enrolled according to the following priorities as space is available in the age group required.

1. Children of Midland ISD students
2. Siblings of currently enrolled children (no sibling discounts)
3. Children or legal dependents of Midland ISD employees
a. Employees recruited to fill vacancies
b. Employees who work in the child care center
c. Employees who work at the campus site of the child care center
d. Other Midland ISD employees

4. Children or legal dependents of Midland ISD substitutes filling a vacancy
5. Grandchildren of Midland ISD employees
