• LUNCH INFORMATION

    Midland ISD Child Nutrition Services (CNS) provides more than 27,000 meals each school day. This department consists of food and nutrition professionals that provide students with access to a variety of affordable foods that meet their health and nutritional needs. All Midland ISD meals, snacks, and beverages served meet state and federal requirements based on the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Dietary Guidelines.

    This dedicated team provides students with breakfast free-of-charge at each campus every morning, and lunch is also provided to students and staff at a cost. As a mandate from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), lunch prices will increase by $0.10 this upcoming school year. For the 2018-19 school year, elementary school lunches will be $3.05, and secondary school lunches will be $3.30. Reduced-price lunches for elementary and secondary schools will be $0.40. Adult lunches will be $3.95.

    Parents may conveniently allot funds into their student’s lunch account by visiting www.midlandisd.net, clicking on the orange circular icon for "Child Nutrition Services", and selecting "Pre-payment Options”.

    Midland ISD Child Nutrition Services will begin accepting applications for free and reduced-price meal applications on Monday, August 6th. Parents and guardians may submit the application electronically or complete a paper copy, which will be available at any Midland ISD campus and at the CNS office located at 801 S. Moran Street, Building 2. The online application will be available by visiting www.midlandisd.net, clicking on the orange circular icon for "Child Nutrition Services", and selecting “Meal Applications”.
