MIDLAND LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP @ MC
Midland's Legacy Scholarship Program is built on the
legacy left by four great Midland families -- George and Gladys Abell, Barney
and Helen Greathouse, J. Harvey and Harriet Herd and the Clarence Scharbauer
Family -- who invested their time and resources to help build a community.
The philosophy of these community builders will ensure
that graduates of Midland County high schools will be able to continue to take
advantage of an education at Midland College.
Midland's Legacy Scholarship Program
covers tuition and fees up to $1,050 per semester ($2,100 for a full academic
year). The scholarship can be used for fall and spring semesters. (Summer
and interim sessions are not covered.) The scholarship does not include books.
Funds may not be exceeded or carried forward to the next semester.
To verify eligibility, the Midland
College Student Development Office will review academic transcripts, volunteer
hours and Legacy Scholar orientation attendance. Students will be awarded once all
Legacy requirements are met. Please see requirements below.
