If your child is being sent home with fever OR vomiting/diarrhea.

These symptoms are generally an indication of a contagious illness.

For this reason, we ask that you keep your child home until symptom-free (No Fever, No Vomiting, No Diarrhea) for 24 hours.

It is important to note that fever will decrease when you administer medication (ibuprofen or acetaminophen). For this reason, we strongly recommend that children be FEVER FREE WITHOUT FEVER REDUCING MEDICATIONS for a full 24 hours before being sent back to school.

Children who have vomiting and or diarrhea (episodes of 3 or more times in a 24 hour period) should also be kept at home until symptom free without the use of medications for 24 hours.

Please help us keep all children healthy!
