How do I receive a Legacy Scholarship?
    The Abell-Hangar Foundation, Helen Greathouse Charitable Trust, The Chaparral Foundation and The Scharbauer Foundation offer a scholarship to graduates of a Midland County high school who plan to enroll at Midland College.
    • Students must have a final GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 system
    • Complete 40 hrs of documented community service
    • Complete the FAFSA
    The volunteer hours must be completed at an approved agency.  Students must create an account with Midland Volunteer Connections and choose approved agencies for Legacy indicated by a black graduation capMortar Board on the right hand side:

    Seniors must turn in a record of all volunteer hours by printing your volunteer resume from your MVC account and submit it to MC.  Hours and application cannot be turned in to LEE.                                      The Midland College Legacy application must be completed online
    The scholarship covers tuition and fees up to $1,050 per semester for full-time enrollment and is only applicable for fall and spring semester. The scholarship does not cover cost of books.
