    I am extremely excited to begin my 24th year with Midland Independent School District and my second year as Principal at Greathouse Elementary.  I graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree. I also acquired my teaching certificate during this time.   I obtained my Master of Education in Special Education and Educational Leadership with a principal certification from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin.  During my years with Midland ISD, I have worked as a Teacher, an Educational Diagnostician, a Special Services Supervisor, an Assistant Principal, and a campus Principal/  

    My husband and I are native West Texans.  We have two sons, Evan and Derek.  

    I am committed to working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and community members to facilitate a learning environment where all children thrive and reach thier full potential.  The Greathouse Team will create an child centered environment where innovation and teamwork are taught and modeled by all.  Our team is here set all students up for immeasurable success.  


    At Greathouse, scholars will display pride and excellence through high expectations by being courageous, self-driven, building meaningful relationships and using the knowledge gained to be lifelong learners who are college and career-ready.
