Honors, Pre-AP & AP/DC Required Summer Reading
Advanced Academics Summer Reading: To jumpstart the learning experience in Advanced Academics English courses, summer reading assignments will be completed before school begins by all students enrolled in 8th grade Honors English, Pre-AP English I, Pre-AP English II, AP/ Dual Credit Language & Composition, and AP/Dual Credit British Literature & Composition.
8th grade Honors and Pre-AP courses serve as a crucial foundation for success in Advanced Placement (AP) English courses. By aligning our Honors/Pre-AP curriculum with AP English courses, we aim to provide a seamless transition for students as they progress through their academic journey.
