Staff

The Midland ISD Police Department (MISD PD) is committed to protecting and serving over 28,000 students across 38 campuses. Our team includes 33 patrol officers, 4 School Resource Officers, and 2 Drug K9s, supported by Chief Scott McKown, Lieutenants L. Alexander and R. Doporto, and Sergeants T. Aguilar, E. Gomez, and G. Del Angel. We also have a dedicated Telecommunications Dispatcher, Evidence Clerk, and a specialized team managing Access Control, Cameras, and MISD PD Fleet.

Our Emergency Management Coordinator, plays a vital role in proactively enhancing safety and security across all district facilities. He oversees the implementation of safety technologies and ensures the efficiency of emergency communications, secure campus protocols, and routine safety measures. Together, our team works diligently to ensure a safe learning environment for all.
