Frequently Asked Questions
When will my Service Record be ready?
Service Records are prepared within 30 calendar days of your last workday or the date we receive a complete request, whichever is later. If we are awaiting leave balances or final payroll updates, we may need additional time. You will receive an email when it’s ready.
Can MISD send my Service Record directly to another district?
Yes. Indicate the receiving district’s secure email address on the request form. We can also provide it to you directly via secure delivery.
How do third‑party verifiers request employment information?
Third‑party verifiers (e.g., mortgage, background screening) must submit a written request with a signed employee authorization. Include the employee’s full name, last four of SSN, and a return email/fax. Send to hr@midlandisd.net.
Will you provide salary verification?
Standard employment verification includes dates of employment and position title. Salary information is provided with a signed employee authorization and when required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
What if my name changed?
List any previous names used during MISD employment so we can locate your record. You may be asked to upload name‑change documentation if needed to verify identity.
