Gifted and Talented/Advanced Academics

The G/T Parent Referral Form will close on October 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. No late applications will be accepted.

This is the only referral opportunity for students currently residing in an MISD attendance zone. We welcome applications from our local private school, charter school, and homeschool families. 

Every nominated student will be screened to determine their eligibility for placement in G/T programming. More information regarding the G/T testing schedule will be sent in November.  

Results will be distributed in late February for elementary and early March for secondary, ensuring transparency and timely communication with families.
