Midland ISD Financial Services provides responsible stewardship of financial resources needed to support our district’s educators, staff, parents and community. Financial Services seeks to enable the advancement of the district’s mission by providing relevant and timely financial information to the executive leadership team, campus administrators and department directors.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Tucker Durham began his role as Chief Financial Officer at Midland Independent School District on September 1, 2023, marking the start of his seventh year in education. Before joining Midland ISD, Mr. Durham held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD and Alpine ISD.
During his tenure at Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD, Mr. Durham played a crucial role in enhancing financial processes and ensuring regulatory compliance. His efforts resulted in substantial improvements in audit outcomes, including several finding-free audits—an achievement not realized in over a decade. Additionally, Mr. Durham contributed to the successful execution of two bond programs and proficiently managed the district’s financial operations.
His career in education began at Alpine ISD, where he also served as the Chief Financial Officer. During his time there, Mr. Durham supported a successful bond program and worked to align financial strategies with the district’s educational goals.
Mr. Durham earned his bachelor's degree in finance and his master’s degree in business administration from Angelo State University.
