WORK, INTERNSHIPS, & ENRICHMENT
Midland ISD CTE collaborates with businesses and organizations to provide students aged 16 and older with valuable work experience through work based learning. These positions encompass a wide range of career opportunities, offering excellent learning opportunities for both students and partnering businesses. Depending on the student's program and the nature of the internship, positions may be paid or unpaid. Grades 10-12!
Watersong Wild Space is selecting high school students from MISD for a paid ecology internship.
This program was built to prepare students for higher education in conservation by providing academic and land management skills while visiting some of the best ecological research stations across Texas.
This year, we will be visiting the Borderlands Research Institute with Sul Ross University, the HARTE Research Institute with Texas A&M Corpus Christi, the East Foundation Ocelot Recovery Project, and more!
