Provide students with real-world exposure to industry and allow students to see firsthand operations including technologies and job expectations. Consider digital tours and visits using the MISD-aligned ACCESS program if safety or time constraints exist.

Contribute to skill and talent development and foster deeper understandings in the field by serving as a judge for an event or providing feedback on a panel for a Career and Technical Organization or classroom.

Midland ISD CTE collaborates with businesses and organizations to provide students aged 16 and older with valuable work experience through work based learning. These positions encompass a wide range of career opportunities, offering excellent learning opportunities for both students and partnering businesses. Depending on the student's program and the nature of the internship, positions may be paid or unpaid.
