  • SENIOR STAFF
  • FLIGHT COMMANDERS
  • DRILL TEAM MEMBERS
  • COLOR GUARD (SPECIAL OCCASIONS)

 

PROMOTION TO CADET AIRMAN

  1. 8 weeks (minimum) as a Cadet Airman Basic.
  2. An 80% or better in JROTC.
  3. Know the local chain of command.
  4. Know all AFJROTC rank and insignia.
  5. Perform all facing movements properly.
  6. Demonstrate how to report in properly to SASI.

PROMOTION TO CADET AIRMAN FIRST CLASS

  1. Eight weeks (minimum) as Cadet Airman.
  2. An 80% or better in JROTC.
  3. Know all Air Force rank and insignia.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of the Cadet Creed.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge of proper flag etiquette (written test & flag folding).

PROMOTION TO CADET SENIOR AIRMAN

  1. Eight weeks (minimum) as a cadet Airman First Class.
  2. An 80% or better in JROTC.
  3. Explain cadet functions.
  4. Command the 30-Step Sequence using other cadets.
  5. Present an SASI/ASI approved leadership speech of at least five minutes.

CRITERIA TO EARN LETTERMAN JACKET

  • JROTC average at least 90%
  • Passing all classes
  • No uniform misses
  • Involved in at least one of the following:
  • Leadership position
    - Additional duty
    - Member of a team (Drill, PT, Cyber, ext..)
    - At least 25 hours of community service (minimum of three events)
  • No disciplinary reports
  • Write 250-300 word essay on what earning a JROTC Letterman's Jacket means to you
  • Present essay to your classmates
