Hall of Legends Criteria

NOMINATION/INDUCTION

General Qualifications 

The following categories are eligible for nomination and induction:

1. Athletes: Individuals who have represented a Midland ISD high school in an athletic program (Carver, Lee, Midland High).  Any person who distinguished himself/herself in athletics while a student at one of the Schools. Selection will be based primarily on an individual's athletic achievements during high school, including such recognition as All-District, All-Region, or All-State, and can include collegiate and professional athletic careers, and consideration of character, sportsmanship, and leadership.

2. Coaches: Individuals who have coached athletics for a Midland ISD school (Carver, Lee, Midland High).  

3. Teams: Teams that achieved outstanding records and accomplishments are eligible for consideration five (5) years after completion of that sport's season (Carver, Lee, Midland High).

4. Award of Special Merit: An individual who has demonstrated loyalty, pride and dedication, and has made significant contributions to the MISD athletic programs.
