Shining Stars

The Shining Stars breakfast is a signature program of The Midland Education Foundation that honors the top 10 graduates from Midland High School, Legacy High School, as well as the top graduate from Early College High School & Coleman High School. We are excited to also recognize the top graduate in 2026 from Young Women's Leadership Academy. Families and staff are brought together for a morning of celebration to highlight the achievements of these MISD students. 

Additionally, MEF also recognizes outstanding educators as Honor Teachers who are chosen by the top scholars as having made a significant impact on their educational life! These teachers are recognized at Senior graduation ceremonies in the program with student written thank you notes as well as a monetary gift!
