Partners in Education
The Midland Education Foundation brings the community into MISD classrooms, campuses, and district wide needs through Partners in Education (PIE).
Formerly an initiative through the Midland Chamber of Commerce, the *Partners in Education program invites businesses to financially adopt an MISD campus. We encourage a $5,000 gift that will be designated towards the chosen campus to support campus needs, teacher appreciation, and student initiatives that fall outside of campus budgets. Community supports helps provide for a positive teacher experience and helps build a campus culture. We will always encourage the adopting business to consider volunteering, visiting, and building rapport with the campus staff.
*Partners in Education is a also term the district uses to recognize the growing number of Midland businesses, faith partners, nonprofits, and civic groups that provide for positive impact on our campuses and across the district. Within the nonprofit structure of the Midland Education Foundation, the PIE program is for companies or individuals making a financial contribution through our charitable process. We also focus on connecting individuals to special projects across the district through gifts in- kind or designated monetary gifts as well as general donations to our PIE Grant fund.
