Welcome to Midland ISD!
Where passion meets perseverance every day, Midland ISD has served the students of Midland County, Texas, for more than 100 years. Located in the very heart of the nation's largest oil patch, Midland ISD offers over 28,000 students a wide array of opportunities to set them on a path to success after graduation. From their first day in pre-K to walking the stage at graduation, MISD works hard to ensure that students are guided and supported throughout every step of the way.

Strategic Plan
This plan is aimed towards a path to dramatically improve the academic success of students, schools, and the district as a whole. The new strategic plan introduces meaningful goals and requirements for specific accountability metrics to ensure progress.
