  • Reminder: Lost/Stolen Items

Parents, we have had some issues with stolen items at AJHS, as such just a friendly reminder not to have your student bring any valuables from home, either sentimental or of monetary value. AJHS will not be responsible for those items. Per MISD policy,

“A lost and found collection box is located in the campus office. A student who loses an item should check the lost and found box. The district discourages bringing personal items of high monetary value to school, as the district is not responsible for lost or stolen items. The campus will dispose of lost and found items at the end of each semester.

    Español:

    Recordatorio: Objetos perdidos y/o robados

    Padres,

Alamo Junior High School

  • At Alamo Jr. High, we acknowledge that junior high is a pivotal time for students both academically and socially. Our goal is to ensure a successful and seamless transition from junior high into high school by creating confident, well-rounded students who will utilize their skillsets to excel academically and socially. Our teachers encourage critical thinking and create a collaborative culture of learning and problem-solving skills in order to prepare our students for their next levels of education. Finally, and as with all Midland ISD campuses, we utilize a productive partnership between students, parents, Alamo Jr. High staff members, and school community members to ensure that our students receive the best education possible in West Texas.
