Are you a Certified Teacher in your home country?
If you have all three of the following criteria, you may request a review of credentials with TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY to obtain certification in the state of Texas:
* You have the equivalent of a four-year bachelors degree from an accredited institution
* You have completed an educator preparation program that includes a teaching practicum
* You have a teaching certificate or qualification from your home country

Additional Requirements:
* A course-by-course evaluation by a recognized foreign evaluation service
* documentation of English language proficiency: educators who apply for certification are required to demonstrate English language proficiency by fulfilling one of the following requirements:
1. Completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States, not including US Territories
2. Completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree at an institution of higher education in a country in which English is the Official Language.
