Midland ISD is focused on building an educational experience where students can see themselves as global citizens.  The study of world languages is an essential part of education in the 21st-century classroom.  Midland students have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the nature of communication and language along with culture and the human experience.  Our teachers help students learn to communicate through the target language and become aware of and appreciate global diversity.
