Midland ISD School Behavioral Health Project

MISD Core Values

In collaboration with Meadows Mental Health & Policy Institute, Midland ISD is implementing a multi-year school mental and behavioral health project. 

  • Project Goal

    This is a multi-year project that will establish sustainable systems, programs, and interventions that will help ALL schools in Midland better meet the behavioral, social, emotional, and mental health needs of students and staff. District, school, and community teams are regularly meeting to coordinate plans to increase the effectiveness of implementation of the Midland ISD Mental and Behavioral Health Project.

  • 2021-2022 School Year

    Bowie Elementary            Bush Elementary         Franks Elementary 

    Greathouse Elementary   Parker Elementary       Rusk Elementary 

    Scharbauer Elementary   Legacy Freshman High School

     

    2022-2023 School Year

    • Cohort 1 Schools: Campus staff will continue professional learning and implementing PBIS/MTSS.  2022-2023 school year professional learning will include classwide PBIS systems.  Campus leadership will receive professional learning around Tier 2/3 systems.
    • All Remaining MISD Schools: will begin training for Tier 1 and will begin implementation of PBIS and MTSS.
