Midland ISD School Behavioral Health Project

  • In collaboration with Meadows Mental Health & Policy Institute, Midland ISD is implementing a multi-year School Behavioral Health Project. 

    Project Goal

    This is a multi year project that will establish sustainable systems, programs, and interventions that will help ALL schools in Midland better meet the behavioral, social, emotional, and mental health needs of students and staff.

    Year 2 Overview

    The first cohort of schools will be implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)

    Cohort 1 Schools Include:

    Bowie Elementary        Bunche Elementary              Bush Elementary

    Franks Elementary       Greathouse Elementary        Parker Elementary

    Rusk Elementary         

     

    Teams

    District, School, and Community teams are regularly meeting to formulate plans on effective implementation of the Meadows Project.
