WHAT'S NEXT
The Teacher Incentive Allotment requires a two-step approval process. First, the proposed TIA system must be validated by the Texas Education Agency. As a part of Cohort D, Midland ISD would need to submit the first step to TEA by April 15, 2021. The second step, data review, will be submitted to Texas Tech in November 2022, and if approved, designated teachers would earn their first payout in September 2023.Midland ISD Cohort D Timeline
