G/T INFORMATION RESOURCES
Gifted & Talented Services in Texas are based on the Texas State Plan which includes nearly all state requirements for G/T students: Texas State Plan for the Education of G/T Students Updated 2019
Other links regarding Texas G/T services:

- National Association for Gifted Children Standards: NAGC G/T Standards.
- In order to code identified G/T students through the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) and to have these students eligible to be included in a district’s G/T weighted funding, students must be identified and receive services before March 1 Student Attendance Accounting Handbook (SAAH), Section 8.2.
- The G/T Education FAQs have been reformatted for usability and updated with current State Plan standards.
