Skyward Family Access Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
HOW DO I GET A FAMILY ACCESS ACCOUNT?
If the parent/guardian already has an email address in the Skyward student system, they will have received an email. Parents will need to follow the directions to create a password. If they do not receive an email and want a Family Access account, they will need to visit their child's campus and provide an ID and email address.
WHY DO I HAVE MULTIPLE FAMILY ACCESS ACCOUNTS?
Multiple accounts are the result of the student being tied to more than one family account. If you get a call regarding this, make sure that you check the "Family Tab" under "Student" and combine the families if needed. If you need additional help, please contact the Student Data Services Department at 432-240-1250.
HOW DO I ADD SIBLINGS TO THE SAME FAMILY ID?
First, decide which family ID to keep and add a family to the other siblings. Once you have added the family ID that you are going to use for the other siblings, you can delete family 1. After doing this, you should be able to see all of the siblings.
HOW DO I GET THE FAMILY ACCESS MOBILE APP?
For iPhone users, the parent/guardian can download the free application in the Apple App Store by searching Skyward Family Access. Once you have located the app, the Midland ISD in the "Locate Your District" field. Android users can also download the app through the Google Play Store. The app will look like the sample below.
