  • My scheduled ACT/SAT/TSIA was canceled, what are my options?

    Posted by:

Whatever you do, make sure you submit a college application regardless of the current situation with ACT or SAT. Find more information here.

Midland ISD is partnering with Examity in order to provide testing options for TSI while testing centers are closed. Please reach out to your high school counselor on how to sign up for this at-home proctored test.

The College Board cancelled both the May 2, 2020 and June 6, 2020 SAT and SAT Subject Test administration. Students who registered for May, whose March test centers were closed, or who do not receive March scores because of any irregularities will receive refunds. College Board plans to provide weekend SAT administrations every month through the end of the calendar year, beginning in August. This includes a new administration in September and the previously scheduled tests on August 29, October 3, November 7, and December 5. Students can register for these administrations starting in May and eligible students can register with a fee waiver.

ACT, Inc. rescheduled its April 4 national test date to June 13. All students registered for the April 4 test date will receive an email from ACT with instructions on rescheduling to June 13 or a future national test date. ACT will offer a flexible schedule for summer 2020 test dates. Students scheduled for summer 2020 may make free test date changes from the June to the July national test date.

  • I am having trouble submitting my shot records to the college. What do I do?

    Posted by:

If you have the shot records, convert them to a PDF and email directly to the admissions office. There are many apps that will convert a picture to a PDF for submission through college platforms. If you do not have records and are unable to submit them due to office closures, submit the application without the records. Follow up with an email directly to the university admissions office.

  • What if I need to make-up hours for attendance?

    Posted by: Mickala Harper

Assistant principals are reviewing attendance this week. If able to return to school, we will begin attendance recovery. If unable to return to school, we will look at other options including lowering the percentage of days required for attendance. However if you have already missed over 25% of the school days this semester then you may be in trouble.
