We are excited to offer a flexible learning option through our Coleman Online learning track. Coleman Online is designed for the family who is looking for a long-term virtual learning environment for their child. This 9th-12th grade option uses accredited virtual courses from Edmentum Courseware. These engaging online courses provide students with the flexibility to more quickly move beyond the content they have already mastered and focus on the concepts that need additional attention. With our accredited program, you will receive the tools and support neccessary to succeed.
Google Classroom Expectations - Google Classrooms are Classrooms and the MISD Student Code of Conduct applies to the virtual learning environment just as it does in an in person classroom. Students must:
Log into each of your Google Classrooms every school day for attendance.(must login using your MISD student eamil address)
Use the link to interact with your teacher in Google Meets (Audio/Visual)
Read and follow the daily agenda and submission requirements.
Pay attention to due dates and submit your work on time.
For your safety, only work on websites suggested by your teacher.

Google Meets Expectations - Google Meet is a video communication service developed by Google. Remember, anything in the cameras view will be seen by others. Students must:
Mute Your Device
Use the chat feature if you have a question
Use appropriate language
Stay on topic
No eating or drinking
Keep music off

Log into Google Meet during posted tutorial hours. All teachers have tutorial times posted in their Google Classroom
All teachers are available during their 6th period Advisory for you to ask questions. Use the Google Meet link
Teachers are available to you via email 8 AM- 4:15 PM, and Google Meets during the scheduled time for each of your classes
Contact your teacher through PLATO/Edmentum while you are working
CHS has the right to limit and/or suspend your access to Google Meets if you comment or speak in a non-respectful way or behave in an inappropriate manner.
Clever can be used to log in to all Midland ISD learning software. Programs such as Edmentum Courseware, Plato, A+, Achieve3000, and ImagineMath can be accessed by clicking on the Clever Icon to the left and using you student ID as your username and password.
All class are accessed through Google Classroom. Students can click the icon to the left and login using their Midland ISD email and password. Example:
USERNAME: stu_ + first initial + last name + last two digits of student ID + @midlandisd.net
EXAMPLE: For imaginary student: Captain America with student ID=123456:
