Can my child login to Google Classroom with a PS4 or XBox One?
Posted by:Classroom can be opened on Xbox and Playstation. There isn’t an app that the students can add to their consoles.. They need to use the built-in browsers that come on the two devices. On Xbox, it is Microsoft Edge. On Playstation, it is the “www” browser. Your students will probably know how to find the browsers on their consoles, but if not, each one has a search function they can access on the home screen.
Once the browser has been opened:
- Type in classroom.google.com in the URL bar.
- A prompt for a Google account will appear.
- Type in your school district email and password – stu_first initial + last name + last 2 digits of ID number. stu_jdoe12@midlandisd.net
- The Classroom home screen will open up.

What's a Google Hangout/Meet?
Posted by:Google Hangout is video conferencing software. It only allows those within the midlandisd.net domain to automatically join. Anyone outside of the domain would have to ask to join and be accepted by the organizer.

Why does Clever try to log my personal account in instead of my child for Google Classroom?
Posted by:This is because you are signed into Chrome as yourself. There are a few options to avoid this. Use Firefox or Microsoft Edge, or if you are on a personal device you can open an incognito window. Keep in mind, an incognito window isn't available for students signed into Chrome.
