Ben Milam International Academy
Milam Elementary will remain a Pre K-6th grade elementary school, but beginning this fall, will also incorporate a dual language program. The Ben Milam International Academy dual language program will begin with Pre K and kindergarten students. Additional grade levels will be added to the program each year until all grade levels are participating. The campus will cater to students of varying linguistic backgrounds, and include class instruction in both Spanish and English.
Young Women's Leadership Academy
The Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) is a Midland ISD school of choice focusing on college preparatory academics, leadership development through community service, and health and wellness. YWLA will open in the fall of 2019 and serve grades 6 and 7 in year one and eventually expanding to a 6th-12th grade campus.
Carver Center is an elementary school for students identified as Gifted and Talented (GT). Our primary focus is to create the very best learning environment for the unique needs of GT students. Through the promotion of scholarly behavior, depth and complexity in learning, creation of concern for others, stimulation of critical and independent thinking skills, and development of effective communication skills, we will reach this goal.
Sam Houston Collegiate Preparatory Academy
Sam Houston College Prep is our first "Transformation" campus. The path to college begins the very first day for these scholars, with the entire atmosphere and curriculum geared toward acceptance and success in college following high school graduation.
Bowie Fine Arts Academy
Bowie Fine Arts Academy is a multifacted campus that provides a rigorous academic environment while encouraging artisic excellence. Multiple arts disciplines such as piano, choir, fine arts, theater arts and dance are integrated into a robust academic environment.
Pease Communications and Technology Academy
Pease Communications and Technology Academy provides students with a dynamic academic environment while providing opportunities for students to expand knowledge and skills in computer technology, communications and video production. This magnet campus also offers bilingual instruction (Spanish) in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
Washington STEM Academy
Washington STEM Academy provides a rigorous academic program that integrates hands-on, inquiry-based instruction in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Students explore, investigate and experiment in enriching labs and in the Outdoor Learning Center. English as a Second Language (ESL) education is also offered in grades Kindergarten through Sixth.
San Jacinto Junior High
San Jacinto Junior High is home to 7th and 8th graders, but also has openings for select 6th graders wishing to get a jump start on their secondary education through a strong focus on AVID strategies. Current 5th graders district-wide can apply for 6th grade at San Jacinto.
