Multi-Tiered System of Supports

"Excellence in education is when we do everything that we can to make sure they become everything that they can."
Carol TomlinsonMidland ISD Response to Intervention (RtI) is an early intervention framework. This framework bridges the challenges individual students face which can affect their success in school. Meetings are held rallying staff to the needs of a student. A student plan is put in place to offer tactical teaching, targeted practices and engaging strategies. Each support is measured for effectiveness. Measures include student assessments, task quality and the overall success. RtI plan components are maintained, if there is evidence of growth and progress. Plans are edited to meet the learner's needs in order they graduate college, career or military ready.
