WELCOME TO BUSH!
Welcome to Bush Elementary School, the home of the Challengers. The staff at Bush fosters a safe and caring learning environment and fosters positive social and emotional behaviors and attitudes for students. Bush serves about 460 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th Grade. In addition to the regular curriculum, Bush offers programs for students with special needs, ELL, and a strings program for 6th Graders. Named for George H.W. Bush, our school opened in 1989, while he was serving his first year as president.

If you've been to Bush Elementary recently, you've probably seen a few new additions in the hallways. To honor the influence of former President George H. W. Bush, for whom the school was named, a pair of murals were painted on the walls. Students also made a video for the Bush family that features the murals.
Where are math and science in everyday life? Everywhere! Concho Resources engineers and geologists gave Bush students hands-on lessons about how they're used.
U.S. Energy & Supply, Cameron International, J.W. Mulloy Associates, Dr. Mamoun Bashir, and Jonathan Wellborn have donated money and prizes to Challenger Charge, a program that rewards Bush Elementary students for good behavior and attendance.
