Kindergarten Teacher’s Golden Rule: “No one has the right to prevent someone else from learning.”
General Rules: Follow directions the 1st time they are given. Keep your hands, feet, and all objects to yourself. Raise your hand and wait to be called on - do not interrupt.

Good Citizen Chart |
Green: Super citizen Yellow: Warning, improper behavior Red: Time out to think about actions, may lose a privilege; notify parents-child’s calendar, phone call home or conference
I will keep track of which color each student has showing at the end of the day. A calendar will be sent home every day indicating the student’s behavior. If the student has stayed on green, it will be a “clean box”. A yellow or red dot will be given to students that have not stayed on task and followed the rules. The student must bring the calendar to school every day with a parent’s signature.
With this system I am reinforcing positive behavior, such as respect and responsibility. If your child persists in negative behaviors that prevent other children from learning, I will contact you. Please reinforce at home the idea that each child is responsible for his/her behavior. Self-discipline is one of the best lessons a child can learn. We will focus on the positive by praising and reinforcing on task behaviors!
