Please click HERE to access the AP exam order form. Students must be enrolled or have taken the course to take an exam. If you order an exam and do not take it at the designated time, you will be charged $15.00 per exam. Any student NOT ENROLLED in an AP course who wishes to take an exam must see their counselor. There is an additional fee involved.
At the Texas Youth and Government Conference 22 students participated in the Legislature, County Court (Judicial) and media. Braden Alford (11th grade) wrote a bill, an act to reduce property tax by ten percent for those who use solar power as their primary source of power and declaring an emergency.
It was passed in both houses and signed by the youth Governor into law. He was selected by his peers as a distinguished delegate in the House of Representatives. Anuj Mocherla (11th grade) sponsored Braden's bill in the Senate and was also selected by his peers as a distinguished delegate in the Senate.
SENIORS: Final class rankings for the 2015-16 school year will be determined at the end of the 5th 6 weeks. Any transcripts with class rankings received before that time are pending and NOT the final class rank.
Panhandle Plains South League Championship competition, the Lee Robo Junkies #4886 selected Lee Team #9362 Samurai Robotics as their alliance partner and went on to win 1st place in the overall championship. The Lee Omega Botz #4885 were 11th place, so all three teams qualified to move on to the area championship which will be played on February 20th at Frenship.
Individual Team Awards were won by: Team 4886 Robo Junkies, won the Inspire Award, which is the highest award that may be earned during competition for being an inspiration to other teams, acting with gracious professionalism both on and off the playing field. Team 9362 Samurai Robotics, won the PT Award. This award is given to the team that best incorporated industrial design elements into their robot solution. Each Lee team has a member nominated to the FIRST Dean’s list, all three team members will be moving on to the next qualifier which will be in San Antonio Texas at the South Super Regional Championship March 9-11. Representing LEE Robotics will be team 4885 Omega Botz represented by Trisha Nag, LEE 4886 Robo Junkies will be represented by Juwon Packer, and LEE 9362 Samurai Robotics will be represented by Alan Chavez.
