Hi. My name is Jolene Holladay and I am starting my thirteenth year as the counselor of George H.W. Bush Elementary. I taught second grade for ten years before becoming the counselor at Bush. I graduated from Texas Tech University. I did my graduate work at Sul Ross in Alpine. I enjoy working with the students of Bush Elementary. About My Job
I conduct monthly lessons in every grade level on various topics.
Some topics include: responsibilty, peer pressure, self esteem, bullying, and careers.
I also do small group sessions with topics including anger management, social skills, divorce, grief, friendship, and self esteem.
I am always happy to work individually with your children. *I must have signed permission for individual or group sessions.
Some other things I do at Bush are: coordinating the Academic Celebrations, PALS program, Red Ribbon Week, H.O.T. (Honor Our Troops), Super Challengers, and EAS applications.
