Cindy Wiebusch teaches  Debate 1,2,3, and Communication Applications. She has taught for a total of 18 years.  She attended McMurry College and Texas Tech University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (English and Speech) and a Master’s in Education with a Reading Specialty.   Cindy was recognized for the 2009 UIL Sponsor Excellence award.
 
 
 
 
 
 
2009-2010 - Christina Ortez as “Teacher of the Year” at LHS.

Mrs. Ortez has twenty-two years of experience in education, 18 of those years were at Lee Freshman where she coached and taught dance. Later, she taught Spanish I, Spanish II, Spanish III PreAP and Spanish IV AP. She loves teaching Spanish because of her love for the language and the culture. She has always wanted to be a teacher. Tina has had allot of wonderful students over the years and many of them are in teaching or in administration today! She has a wonderful family who has always has been supportive of her job. She has a son who lives in California and is pursuing an acting career, a son who is attending school in Boston at MIT, and one son who is a 7th grader at San Jacinto Jr. High. Tina has a terrific husband who has always supported her, especially when she went back to school to obtain her Master's Degree. She truly loves teaching at Lee High School and all her colleagues are wonderful people and the administration is supportive. "It's an honor to be Lee High School's teacher of the year!!" Tina.
