     Students it's time for REFLECTIONS!

    What is Reflections?

    Started in 1969 by then Colorado PTA President Mary Lou Anderson, Reflections has encouraged millions of students to express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts.

    This years theme is "The World Would Be a Better Place If..."

    You may submit works of art in the following 6 categories: 
    Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Musical composition, Film, and Dance.
    The campus deadline is December 2nd by 4:00. You may get more information in the school office or download forms on the website under programs.
    1.) All entries must follow the guidelines and Each entry must have an entry form attached with a signature!
    2.)Entries may be turned in to the front office or turned into their Fine Arts/ English teachers.

  • October 15th-PSAT for all Sophomores. Juniors that have registered will also
    be testing. ELA STAAR Blitz for Juniors and Seniors who need to re-test in
    December. All other students will have a delayed start until 1:19p.m.

    Only natural hair color.

    No hats in the building.

    No skate Shoes or house shoes/slippers.

    Cover the entire shoulder, midriff, chest, and back.

    See-through shirts must have a shirt that meets dress code underneath.

    Students that wear spandex/tights/jeggings must have a shirt that covers their bottom.

    No holes above the knee for those wearing jeans/pants. 

    Shorts, skirts, dresses, holes in jeans must be no higher than 3” from top of kneecap when sitting down.

    No sagging.

    Piercings are allowed with a clear insert.

    No clothing or jewelry that advertises or depicts tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, or lewd, offensive, vulgar, obscene or violent writing or images.

    Apparel, accessories, hair color or hair styles that denote gang-related association is prohibited.

    If you are not sure about your clothing being in dress code, then don’t wear it to school.

    Parents must download a waiver form or get one from the main office.
    Parents must sign and return the wavier form to Midland HS in order to receive a portal ID for their student(s).
    Parents must have essential ID for verification.
