June 8, 2015 – 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 - Last Name Letters (A-L)

June 9, 2015 – 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 – Last Name Letters (M-Z)
 
June 10, 2015 – 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 – Make up registration
 
June 11, 2015 – 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 – Make up registration

Student Dates:

·         Classes:  Monday, June 15 – Tuesday, June 30 (Monday -Thursday, no Friday classes)

·         Holiday July 1-2

·         Testing July 6-10

Tuition:  In District Students:  Tuition is Free

            Daily attendance is required and necessary to be successful in summer academy.

Class Schedule: (New Building at Midland High School)

8:30-10:25 Session 1 (grades 9-12) – Credit Recovery and Non-Credit Recovery/STAAR/EOC remediation

10:30-12:25 Session 2 (grades 9-12) – Credit Recovery and Non-Credit Recovery/STAAR/EOC remediation

Lunch 12:30 to 1:00

1:05-2:00 Session 3 (grades 11-12) – Non-Credit Recovery/STAAR/EOC remediation only

2:05-3:00 Session 4 (grades 11-12) – Non-Credit Recovery/STAAR/EOC remediation only

 Counselors will place students in these sessions according to individual needs.  All students attending MISD Accelerated Summer Academy must need EOC remediation.

  • Lifetouch will be at Robert E. Lee High School for Senior portraits on: Tuesday, August 18th; Wednesday, August 19th, and Thursday, August 20th. Students with the last name that starts with:
    A-E will be on August 18th, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.;F-J will be on August 18th, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m
    K-O will be on August 19th, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.;P-S will be on August 19th, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m
    T-Z will be on August 20th, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.;Make-ups will be on August 20th, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m

  • Midland Project Graduation 2015 

    The All Night Project Graduation Party 2015 will be on Saturday, May 30th from 10:00pm – 3:00am at Midland Center. Admission is free for graduates. Each graduate may bring 1 guest. Guest fee is $20.00. Graduates will receive a packet at graduation practice that includes a ticket and participant form.     Senior High School Incentive Plan
     
    High school students will have the opportunity to earn incentives based on their academic status and attendance record throughout the year.  These exemptions apply to second (spring) semester exams only. Students who meet criteria will be allowed to be exempted from the exams of their choice as described in the following link. Students who earn an exemption must claim the exemption with their counselor.  Click HERE for more information.

    EOC Incentive Plan
     
    High school students will have the opportunity to earn the following incentives based on their performance on spring 2015 EOC tests and retests. This incentive is offered in addition to the attendance/grade final exam exemptions already in place.  Click HERE for more information.

  • The LHS Robotics students would like to Thank SM Energy for their very gracious donation of $16,600. SM Energy Company is a Denver based oil and gas company with a regional office here in Midland. SM Energy was interested in helping programs that primarily teach math and science and they selected the Robotics program at LHS.
